Python Software Engineer

Matrix Group International, Inc. is a leading interactive agency in
the Washington DC area. MatrixMaxx is our flagship association
management software product that helps associations and non-profits
work better, be more efficient, know more about their members and
finances and become a leader in their field.

The MatrixMaxx team, also known as the Reservoir Dogs, is looking for
a dynamite software engineer to join the team. Are you ready to be our
Mr. Blue?

Job Requirements:

As a Reservoir Dogs team member, you will:

* Help clients re-engineer their business processes to streamline
workflow, eliminate paper mailings, eliminate duplicate data entry,
and save money.

* Be involved in the entire project life cycle, from the development
of the specifications, design of the user interface, database design
and construction, programming, and gathering of client feedback.

* Implement the proper modules, like MeetingMaxx, MembershipMaxx,
MailingMaxx.

* You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes
programmers, designers, webmasters and project managers to develop and
implement effective Web strategies for clients.

* Contribute to the open source community through involvement in
improving Mailman.

You will thrive in this position if:

* You believe that code should be elegant and clean, and that coding
is a creative act.

* You go beyond the specifications by making suggestions for making
applications better and flagging sections that don’t make sense.

* You have the ability to juggle multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.
