I think that is an excellent idea, and I look forward to it. I know that the DC BarCamp organizers have had good luck with the local PR Agencies, because they have lots of space that's not in use on weekends and are always looking for people. Fleishman-Hillard put us up last time. You might want to get in touch with the people behind RefreshDC, which manages to get space for a hundred+ one a month -- lately they've been at APCO worldwide.
