Meeting Tuesday 21st? Ideas for a presentation (later)?

I've got plenty of Thanksgiving stuff to do so wanted to know if
there's a meeting tomorrow -- I don't see anything on the calendar.
I would be happy enough to postpone for another time.

Future presentation?

I might also be persuaded to give a presentation at some future meeting
if the following is of interest. I'm still pretty ignorant about
Plone as I don't use it in my work yet. But I've been playing with
ArgoUML to create a new Product type, run it through ArchGenXML,
install, and test. As I progress, I'm adding various Tagged Values to
the ArgoUML model to specify stuff like "searchable", "required", and
widget:label. I still have a lot to learn but I didn't find a
hands-on HOWTO type of thing which specifically addressed using a UML
tool to do this -- the tutorials focus on working with Archetype
schemas directly.

So if this isn't old hat to y'all, I could probably give a short talk
and demo of creating a new type in ArgoUML then adding more features
to it incrementally.

FWIW, my product is a food Recipe. I've got a bunch of text and HTML
recipes on my current static Apache home site, and I want to migrate
all that stuff into a Plone site then shut off the old one.

you might want to check out the slides from the presentation I gave
at the Plone Conference.

Building an artist community site using ArchGenXML / Poseidon

The examples are using Poseidon (which I found less clumsy than using
ArgoUML), but many of the same concepts apply.
