I have a question to the list in an area i usually need help in the
most, finding out if the way i want to solve a problem is the right way
of doing things. There are many shortcuts to be taken, and some are
really cool, and some..

Well, anyway, what i'm interested in relates to jonah's last post about
visibility in archetypes. Knowing that I can set visibility on widgets,
hopefully via function embedded in the archetypes themselves, i was
wondering about this scenario:

If i do indeed have visibility set via function, could you then use
portal_workflow and it's attached script functionality to toggle fields
from hidden to visible? So that workflow takes care of not only
security, but showing the right subset of archetype widgets in the
corresponding state. Something like 'only show personal info' when in
the 'personalInfo' state.

Thanks for any thoughts on this matter. Haven't been able to speak up
on many of the other posts recently, but i can at least make one :)

James.
