Actually I just got an email from Jason at Porter Novelli and the
room is unavailable...

I hate to delay again but that would be best for me. Others' 2 cents
(or dollars) welcome.

We should definitely schedule a FS development talk as well.

Bummer, it's been too long. I'm still up for it if we can find a
place, or if the small conference room's big enough.

Yes!

That's fine - I'm a tad busy today anyway. just let me know when you
want me to make my presentation on the symposium.

I need to know like right now, because I was planning to work on the
presentation today. I have lots of other stuff to do, so we need to
decide asap.

import and manipulate plone CSS?

Reed,

I'd like to do that. Haven't yet. Would probably be a matter of taking a page
produced by Dreamweaver or whatever and then making that your main_template.

The plubrick skin is interesting, if you haven't seen it yet:
http://plone.org/products/plubrick/releases/1.0.3

Alex

p.s. Personally I just finished a PHC/PSC hack/install:
http://afni.nimh.nih.gov/
I took a lot of the PSC (Plone Software Center) types and converted them to the

"Link" type so that I could have a content-ish representation of the items
in the ZODB and leave the actual documents on the FS. Gross, but
semi-functional.

My favorite part about the whole thing is being able to do stuff like:
http://afni.nimh.nih.gov/afni/doc/phc_search?SearchableText=&phc_selection=all

PSC (Plone Software Center) was a straight up install:
http://afni.nimh.nih.gov/afni/download/afni/releases/latest
NHN (No hacking needed :-)

p.p.s.
If anyone has dealt with "representing" large amounts of content on the file
system in Zope, I'd love to hear about it! :-)

We use a similar pattern for storing uploaded files and attachments.
Uploaded files are assigned randomized filenames and put into
a short tree in the file system. The database (we use Durus, but
the idea would be the same for ZODB) keeps persistent objects that
record the available meta-data (nice file name, date, user)
and the path to the "external" file.
We use separate "Attachment" persistent instances to associate
the external files with other objects.

We never edit these external files and all access goes through the
application itself.

Do we have a postponement date yet?

I can check with my management, though we are in the midst of
renovations so could be hectic. Any idea how many would attend? I think
our conference room could accommodate 20 people.
