Isn't lunchtime traditionally 12:00? I could go for 11:30am but that's
just me.
Everybody's silence denotes acceptance, btw.

I vote for a later lunch - like 12:30, given we're probably not
starting until 9:00. But, 12:00 will also work.

I requested the deliveries at lunchtime and Bill is going to bring a
check Thursday. They will be paid friday...
No one had any comments about allergies or preferences outside of the
email I sent, so they are accomodating as well as they can.

restarted Zope but still doesn't work. Any other suggestions? Thanks

It shouldn't matter how you install GraphViz (ie, Fink or other methods).
What matters is that things can find it.
The graphviz command that program use is "dot"; check that dot is on
your path. You can use the command which:
$ which dot
/usr/bin/dot
(I think `which` is part of OSX; I don't have an OSX box to check. If not,
you can use find to find where the dot executable is.)
The file you want to look at is the config.py in DCWorkflowGraph;
if dot isn't in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin, you'll need to edit this
to add the path of dot. Then restart Zope.
The config.py is Archetypes has nothing to do with getting a workflow
graph. It's another use of GraphViz's dot, in this case, to show
a directed graph of references for those AT objects that refer
to other AT objects. A neat, but less useful feature, since most
of us aren't doing lots of work with AT refs.
Good luck, and cheers,
- j.

Have you put the Developer Tools on your system yet ?
You need to do that David ;-D
download the tarred program to the Desktop
cd to the Desktop
untar usually ---> tar cxvf foobar.tar.gz
leaves you with a folder named foobar
read the install file or README first!
usually something like this will get an install up and running
cd foobar
./configure
make
make install
#do not do this as root if you can avoid it

I spent some time this AM perusing the web and found mod_python and PSP to suit
the following need..Do you agree? I had looked at Zope and Quixote etc. a while
back and not sure if they are an overkill.
Any advise welcome..

Well Plone is a Zope Application... and Quixote sounds like another PSP-ish
technique (Python Server Pages).
The PSP Story from http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/python/2004/02/26/python_server_pages.html
is fairly interesting:
Inlining Python in HTML is a subject of some controversy. Some people
consider code inside HTML a bad programming practice,
since it utterly violates the Model-View-Controller paradigm by placing the
application logic inside the presentation layer.
(I am inclined to agree with this, but as you will see later on, there are
ways to use PSP that actually comply with the MVC model.)
Bad as it may be, millions of PHP users show a clear demand for this style of
programming developers are having success implementing sites this way.

Quixote is another technique, but is definitely *not* PSP-ish.
The templating pattern included with and commonly used in Quixote is the
opposite of the PSP pattern: markup in Python, not Python in markup.
Quixote is really more about using Python code to define and publish
a url namespace. It includes form generating and processing modules,
but
it is doesn't provide higher-level components as in Zope/Plone.
