ZPUGers:
We're thrilled to announce the details of the upcoming ZPUG DC Plone
Bootcamp.
It'll be held at American University (please see
http://www.american.edu/directory/
for details on how to get there) and
will be from Monday, May 9th to Friday, May 13, 2005. Exact directions
to the training facility will be included with your registration
packet.
The cost will be $250 per student and will include all training
materials, daily lunch, and an ultra snazzy t-shirt. Similar for-profit
corporate training is usually closer to $1,500 so I think you'll agree
this modest fee is quite reasonable. The class size is limited to just
35 people as it's hard to give one-on-one attention to a larger group.
Registration is initially restricted to ZPUG-DC members and those in
the DC/NoVa/MD areas and will run from 1pm on Sunday, April 17th to 1pm
on Wednesday, April 20th. After that it will be open to anybody outside
of the DC metro area and we'll post details to the Plone and Zope
lists.
We'd ideally like you to bring your own laptop but we'll have a limited
number of loaners available for those without.
The registration link will available from the ZPUG-DC Web site on
Sunday. During the sign up you'll be able to tell us your t-shirt size,
your dietary preferences, and if you'd like any extra t-shirts (one can
never have too many work shirts after all).
Finally, we have just a few corporate sponsorship slots left at $250
each. This will get your logo printed on the t-shirts and the undying
love of 35 freshly minted Plone developers eager to consume your goods
and services. Please contact me directly if you'd like to be sweet
talked into this deal of the decade.
Thanks! If you have any additional questions please feel free to
contact me directly.
Best,
Jules
(on behalf of the Bootcamp committee)
