Good news on location for Bootcamp/Training

I just received definite confirmation that AU will provide space for us
for the week of May 9 - 13. Our cost will be $160/day. The weekly
cost of $800 needs to be made out to American University and sent to
them NLTY May 2, 2005.

Quoting from the email of 3/16 from Michael Elmore, Senior Directory,
University Center:

"We will confirm the exact location, likely a Ward Building classroom,
within the next couple of weeks, but planning for the activity may
commence."

Ward would be great space - it's very nice and was recently renovated.

David

Sounds like it would be a good time to start collecting pre-paid
folks. Any estimate on total cost for the training and location?

If it's (say) $200 - $300, then perhaps you could request half up
front. Perhaps a slight discount to encourage pre-pays. (or rather,
and anti-discount for those who pay later).

I'd cough up $100 now, so we can get AU a check. Are there seven
others so we can reserve the room?

Thanks for all the leg-work!

I can put in $100.

I agree that we need to start registering ASAP. Is anyone willing & able
to set up a credit-card processing and event registration site for this?
The PayPal account and ZPUG checking account are ready to go. We simply
need the means of registering people to get started.

We decided at a planning meeting to require full payment at time of
registration to avoid hassles. Tentative price is $250.

Please contact me directly if you are able to help with the site. As an
incentive I would be willing to negotiate drastically reduced tuition
for whomever can get this done no later than March 31st.

I don't think it's necessary - the space is guaranteed for us. Just
need to pay them by May 2. David
