I am having a few problems with this product.
1. Anonymous users can't access the site map at all. It asks that must
be logged in to view. Some of the content on the site is restricted to
members only. This behavior is not a real problem, and may actually be
an advantage.
2. But, for a in and authenticated user, I'm getting the message -
"insufficient privileges"
3. So, I listed under idsNotToList, that part of the site that is
restricted to a subset of the members. It doesn't help. I still get
this message: " Insufficient Privileges -
You do not have sufficient privileges to view this page. "
Anyone seen this problem? Thanks,
David

I've gotten this error many times, and not always for clear reasons.
First, download and install the VerboseSecurity product, which should
give you much more instructive error messages. I couldn't get it to
install, but i've been told it's a must have for diagnosis of these
types of problems. I can't specifically help you, but i can say that
past roles and permissions in the ZMI, you can also get these errors if
product files on the filesystem have incorrect ownership permissions -
like the file belongs to the wrong user after copying the product in,
for instance.
the next version of plone should have a java script that plays the
sound 'Ha Ha' from that simpsons bully when you get that message. Bane
of my existence.
good luck :)
