Several publishers offer free copies of books in exchange for writing a review about it. The reviews should be posted here, and on a high-visibility place like Amazon.com.
The companies that offer this to us are:

- Apress
- Pearson
Note that Pearson is the largest computer book publisher--many small and large imprints are part of them, including Wrox, Que, Peachpit, New Riders, etc.
