Humanitas, Inc., a government contractor, in the public health and social services field is seeking a motivated, self starter to join our Web Development Team.

The Web Developer must know or be willing to learn Plone/Zope/Python in
our fast-paced small business environment.

Candidate must be skilled in both web based application and database
development. Candidate with high initiative enjoys working in small size
project teams (3+ team members) throughout full life cycle development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Bachelor’s
degree and 2-4 years of relevant work experience preferred or equivalent
combination of education and experience. Salary commensurate with
experience.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Strong experience developing web applications integrating object
oriented programming languages and relational databases
• Programming experience that includes Python, JavaScript
• Demonstrated proficiency with both Windows and Linux/Unix operating
systems
• Proven full life cycle experience: analysis, design, implementation,
documentation, quality control
• Demonstrated proficiency with content management system concepts and
ancillary software products that enhance web-based tools
• Experience providing technical support to in-house staff and clients
as well as creating and maintaining system documentation
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in networking technologies and
concepts (LAN, WAN and management)
