Welcome to the Zope/Python Users of DC.

by Joel Burton last modified 11/03/2008 05:06 PM

The Zope/Python Users Group of DC exists to promote and serve the user and developer communities of Python, Zope, and Plone in the Washington, DC and surrounding areas. We hold meetings, networking events, bootcamps/sprints/conferences and provide a mailing list to our members.

Meetings

We usually meet on the first Tuesday of every month (but see our schedule, below, for upcoming meetings). Our meetings are scheduled in Washington, DC and Northern Virginia close to public transportation and parking.

If you plan on coming to our meetings, please sign up for our mailing list. Notice of meeting cancellations, schedule changes, and much other important stuff comes out on the list. It's low-volume but important for members or potential members. Thanks!

Our upcoming meetings are listed here.

You can also read and subscribe to our mailing list on GMANE.

We'll be announcing our meetings and holding general discussions on our mailing list. Please subscribe. You can subscribe to our mailing list here.

Online Chat

You can chat online in real time with other ZPUGDC members and organizers via Internet Relay Chat. More about that here.

Speakers

Please consider speaking to our group! We'd love your presentation on Python, Zope, Plone, or anything related. Our meetings normally have one full-length (30-45 min) presentation and one "mini-presentation" (10-15 min). To volunteer to present, please read the following information and then let us know.
